lord krishna was initiated by rishi sandipani to accomplish shodashi sadhna.even lord shiva praised his sucess in this sadhna by saying "the 16 beej mantras ofshodashi r decorated on his face,ahh he looks so attaractive.............."..in tretayuga hanuman ji initiated sri ram in bhuvnesverii sadhna ........he learnt from surya dev..........
